1/2.7’’ series scanning lenses are wide angle low distortion lenses, capturing up to 110 degrees horizontal field of view with less than -1.2% lens aberration. Their large depth of field keep more of the image sharp and clear. Moreover, they are available in various apertures from F/2 to F/6. For a given subject framing and camera position, the DOF is controlled by the lens aperture diameter. Reducing the aperture diameter (increasing the F-number) increases the DOF. In addition to the characteristics mentioned above, another main feature of these lenses is their compact dimension.
