A sight is an aiming device used to assist in visually aligning ranged weapons, surveying instruments or optical illumination equipments with the intended target.optical devices that allow the user to see an optically enhanced target image aligned in the same focus with an aiming point. Optical sights use optics that give the user an enhanced image with an aligned aiming point or pattern (also called a reticle) superimposed onto the target image, preferably at the same focal plane.
A laser sight is a device attached or integral to a firearm to aid target acquisition. Unlike optical and iron sights where the user looks through the device to aim at the target, laser sights project a beam onto the target, providing a visual reference point. The use of laser sights is associated with increased accuracy in general, increasing the probability of hitting the target especially in low light conditions. Laser sights are primarily used by military and law enforcement, although have some civilian use for hunting and self defense.
CHANCCTV developed a new 70mm lens with M12 mount and supports up to 8MP resolution. It features all glass design and long local length. When working on a 1/1.8’’ sensor, it captures 6.25 degrees horizontal field of view. And the TV distortion is less than -1%. This lens is ideal for gun sight cameras, such as optical sights and laser sights.
